This post is for everyone who loves to root for the underdog.&nbsp; We all know at the end of the story, the hero wins and the villain gets his or her up-and-comings. Otherwise we would feel a sense of disconnection from the story.&nbsp; All of our lives we've been told that everything works out in the end.&nbsp; Our fiction should not reflect real life.&nbsp; Happy endings are always handed out in my favorite book.&nbsp; The closest we can come is a melancholy ending.&nbsp; The hero may die, but it all works out and the villain never, ever, ever wins!&nbsp; At least as far as I know.&nbsp; Anyways.
